1979 Hallmark Cards completed the purchase of Litho - Krome Company on December 18, 1979.
1979 Wayne Herran is named the new president of Litho - Krome.
1983 “Kiss Impressions, My Love Affair With Lithography”, an autobiography by J. Tom Morgan was published.
1984 Lamar Powers was named the new president of Litho - Krome, to replace Wayne Herran who was asked to join the Hallmark Graphic Arts team in Kansas City.
1986 Litho - Krome created and established Handshake Greeting Cards.
1989 Litho - Krome purchased their first 40” perfecting press, a 7 color 40” Heidelberg.
1994 Wayne Matthews is named the new president of Litho - Krome.
1994 The Art Reproduction prepress department converted from conventional film to a digital workflow.
1996 John Hasting is named the new president of Litho - Krome.
1997 Handshake transitioned into Hallmark Business Expressions.
1998 Art Reproduction began producing Fine Art Digital Giclees. “Harbour Town”, by Linda Hartough was the first piece reproduced.
1999 Litho - Krome founder, J. Tom Morgan, passed away on December 30th.
2000 Hallmark purchased fine art publisher, Greenwich Workshop, who in turn, reported to Litho - Krome.
2000 Karmen Huyser was named the new president of Litho - Krome.
